Rome proposal photo shoot at the Trevi fountain

It turned out to be just a magnificent day to take engagement  photos in Rome! Starting off with a car ride to the Trevi fountain. Which was as fascinating as ever. With emerald green azure water. Reflecting the midday sun on the white marble statues. Where we took some initial couple portrait pictures. Followed by a beautiful and romantic wedding marriage proposal for the amazement of everyone around! Then after taking some photos of the amazing engagement ring. We hopped back into the car and headed for the Spanish steps.

Engagement photo shoot at Piazza di Spagna and Pincio

The car dropped us off at the bottom of the Spanish steps. So that we could begin taking pictures by the Barcaccia water fountain. Where we snapped some really nice portrait shots. With the subject in focus while blurring out the background crowds. Then we made our way up the steps. Taking some nice walking pictures while descending the staircase. Reaching the mid level plateau, where we stopped to take some nice portrait pictures with the leading away lines of Via Condotti in Rome. When  we reached the top of the staircase. We took some nice photographs while standing before the distant church dome and the roman skyline.

Reaching the nearby Pincio park terrace soon after. Which is just a 1 or 2 minute car ride from Piazza di Spagna. And finding here, one of the most amazing views of the Rome cityscape!

Roman forum photo session

Our next stop was the Roman Forum. Seen from the above Piazza del Campidoglio.  Giving us the opportunity to take some splendid pictures with the ancient roman ruins in the background. Then taking a brief walk towards the center of the square. Where we found some many different great photo opportunities! Ranging from great shots taken under the ancient columns. To wide open spaces found on top of the Campidoglio staircase. Finally reaching the other side of the Roman forum. To take some different angle views of this incredible view!

Pictures at the Roman Colosseum

A photo session in Rome would not be complete without taking some great pictures at the roman Colosseum! Over by a side hill which has an amazing view over this ancient and massive monument. Enabling us to take some great close up portrait as well as some more wider view images. In the attempt to capture all the beauty of this amazing landmark.

Final pictures in Piazza Navona

Leaving Piazza Navona as the last location of the couple photoshoot. Taking some great snapshots down below square. Initially by the Fontana del Moro water fountain and later by the central water fountain of the four Rivers. Leaving the best for last! Some final really nice portrait pictures taken from a rooftop hotel terrace which overlooks church Sant’Agnese in Agnone from above! A truly one of a kind location!
