An early morning session
A unique wedding proposal photographed inside the Coliseum in Rome Italy. This was a first time for me to coordinate a proposal inside this massive monument. We moved early in the morning to beat the crowds and purchased tickets online to avoid excessive queuing.
When the day came about we were ready and it all ran quite smooth all the way inside past the admission booths. The light was low so the spot had to be carefully chosen to avoid dark/light areas and to avoid finding shooting against the sun.
I choose an elevated point of view and when the moment came had to dodge some walking bystanders but the surprise was just fabulous! The rest of the engagement session was transported by the wonderful feeling of joy and happiness of who is getting married!!
We moved to different spot to snap some more pictures and then down to the lower ring to complete the photo shoot inside the Colosseum. We then headed out for some final photography of the structure from the outside with the sweeping view over the Roman Forum.
