Wedding proposal on the Sant’Angelo bridge
This was a phenomenal surprise wedding proposal photoshoot in Rome. Disguised as a standard couple photo session to maintain the element of surprise. Only to surprise with the proposal during the photoshoot! Waiting for the right place and the right time! So we began shooting some nice couple photos on the Piazzale Garibaldi terrace outlook which has a wide sweeping view over the city of Rome from above. But the terrace was crowded and after taking some pictures, we headed across the street to find a different view. With less people around. In this case the background changed to Saint Peter’s dome in the far distance.
After taking pictures there, we took a small walk over to the Janiculum water fountain. Which is a stunning landmark not so distant from where we were. Stopping along the way to take some nice walking portraits under the trees and some shots against the sun setting sun. Then we reached the stunning circular water fountain which provided the best intimate moment to ask the big question! Which was welcomed with surprise and a lot of joy and happiness!
We then celebrated with some craft beer ordered ahead of time for this special moment. Which we also used to take fun pictures of the engagement ring! Ending the photo shoot with some artistic silhouette pictures with a beautiful bright blue sky!
