Overlooking the city of Rome
Starting with a casual walk in Park Villa Borghese to reach the terrace view of Parco del Pincio. Then after a nice view over the roman skyline: the big question among excitement and stupor! I was ready to photograph the surprise marriage proposal at a distance. After wearing the engagement ring I walked over and made acquaintance. From there we took some nice pictures in around the environs and began the engagement photo shoot.
The Engagement Photography
After such joy and happiness the engagement photos were just a walk in the park! And so we did, capturing posed and casual snapshots here and there in the different panoramic settings this unique location has to offer. Among beautiful leaves with an intense fall reddish color. Then by the distinctive light poles that characterize this area of Rome. Including some fun pictures with the Gelato ice cream truck in the background!
Piazza di Spagna
Our walk to the Spanish steps was full of interesting picture ideas. Including the drinking from the water fountain series! Piazza di Spagna was good to us. Offering really nice photo opportunities relatively free of too many visitors. This allowed us to freely shoot on the stairs and overlooking Via Condotti at the heart of the fashion district in Rome.
A beautiful red rose entered the frame when we were taking pictures at the Barcaccia water fountain which added a nice red color!
The Roman Colosseum
The walk around the city was magnificent. But at one point we had to take a taxi to reach the Coliseum. Bringing us there just at the right time as the sun was setting behind the city. We invested a lit bit of time here trying to capture images that could best represent the Italian and Roman setting. The photo shoot ended with a nice toast at a local bar. Congrats!
