Celebrating being together in Rome
It was a great pleasure to meet again in Rome to take anniversary pictures together! After photographing a most beautiful elopement wedding in Tivoli some 5 years ago. Now returning to capture some more nice photos. And perhaps trying to shoot again that one special picture! So we started from the Spanish steps. Where it all originally began! Taking some nice snapshots at the bottom of the steps. In front of the Barcaccia water fountain. Trying to find the best poses. Then making our way up the steps looking for scenic spots to take nice anniversary photos! Ultimately reaching the top of the steps where we attempted to recreate that one famous picture! Giving it a new twist with a different background. It wasn’t a straightforward process as we had to deal a number of issues. One of which was a work around a light pole that kept getting in the way of the picture frame! And cars passing by. But I think the photo was a successful candidate to the Colosseum picture! I am already thinking about a new version for the next trip!
