Proposing in Rome

Overlooking the city from the Orange garden

A truly wonderful surprise wedding proposal candidly photographed at the Giardino degli Aranci in Rome Italy. Meeting with the photographer directly on location. And choosing the terrace overlooking the roman skyline as the exact proposal location. With the beautiful city of Rome in the background. Finding it all to ourselves to the romantic music of a street musician playing acoustic guitar.
The big question was welcomed with a lot of Joy and Happiness! And after making acquaintance with the photographer, we continued the romantic engagement photo shoot in Rome in the park’s surroundings.

Janiculum Hill

Jumping back in the car which had been waiting for us during the proposal. To reach the area of Gianicolo. Which was in the vicinity. Stopping by the Fontana dell’Acqua Paola water fountain which also has a phenomenal view over the city from above. Taking the time to shoot some nice portrait pictures. Including some unique pictures of the beautiful engagement ring! Stopping by the nearby Piazza Garibaldi to take some engagement pictures with the dome of Saint Peter’s Basilica in the far distance.

Colosseum

Ultimately reaching the Roman Colosseum. Where we took some nice walking in the alleyway pictures. With a truly unique background! As well as some really nice posed portraits of having fun and being in Love in Rome!

Trevi fountain

This couldn’t be an engagement photoshoot in Rome if we didn’t include a trip to the Trevi fountain. Which we found beautiful and romantic as ever! And where we were able to get some really nice shots on the first ring terrace that overlooks the fountain from above. As well as some nice portraits by the water edge.

Pincio

Ending the photography session by the Pincio park terrace. Found at the edge of the Villa Borghese park. And which has a fabulous view over the Roman skyline from above. All wrapped up in color and black and white photography!
