Botanical garden

A small wooden bridge over a water creek in the Japanese garden is a nice and peaceful place to propose.
The attire in this location will have to be casual and informal
as getting dressed up in formal attire will require asking for
professional photography permissions.

Professional photography is not always allowed in Saint Peter's square.

This is a beautiful terrace above a castle overlooking Rome at 360° degrees
A beautiful and romantic location which however can be crowded at times especially at central times
the attire here will have to be casual and informal as getting dressed up in formal attire

Ponte Castel Sant'Angelo

The bridge is empty of people only in the early morning with the best light right after sunset.

Giardini di Palazzo Venezia

An off the beaten track location found in Piazza Venezia which offers a nice park with a water fountain.
As well as a Romanesque style portico which could be a nice location for an intimate proposal.
And provides cover in case of rain!

Janiculum hill (Piazza Garibaldi)

The Janiculum hill has an incredible sweeping view over the roman skyline.
From a large terrace which helps to find a nice spot even on crowded days.
There is also another nice spot nearby on a marble bench which is less crowded
which may work for a more intimate proposal with Saint Peter's dome in the distance.

Villa Borghese Galleria gardens

The gardens found in the rear of the Villa Borghese museum are a nice quiet place for a proposal.
This is a good location if you wish to propose in more intimate fashion.

Villa Borghese lake is also another quiet place for an intimate proposal as most locations in Villa Borghese.
It is a beautiful spot with the lake in the background and an ancient temple.
Works best from midday until the golden hour 1-2 hour before sunset.

Villa Borghese Temple of Diana

Temple of Diana is also a nice place for a proposal set up at the bottom of the steps or half way up.
Afterwards the session can continue in other parks of the park such as the lake or scenic water fountains.
On a longer session, engagement pictures can also include the Pincio park outlook with a view over the Rome skyline.

Private or semi Private Terrace with Piazza Navona view

A beautiful hotel terrace with a stunning view over Piazza Navona and the roman skyline.
The terrace is not open to the public but it is accessible only by the hotel guests.
Setting up a proposal here is possible both either exclusively before 5:00 pm or non exclusively after 5:00 pm with the bar opening to hotel guest which might be there at the time

A beautiful hotel terrace bar open to the public with a unique view of Saint Peter's dome.
A proposal can be set up at a table in a small private area with the best view.
This is not an exclusive set up. There will be other people present at other tables. The reservation includes a Franciacorta sparkling wine bottle and a composition of 15 red roses.

This is a small and intimate terrace with a view over the Roman Forum.
It is located on the top floor of a Hotel and can be reserved for the private event.

Giardino degli Aranci

The orange garden is a beautiful place to propose and to take engagement pictures afterward.
The light is nice here in the later morning. It is also nice for a sunset although it can be crowded at that time.
In case of a sunset proposal, it is best to go a little before sunset to catch the golden light
and if it is too crowded there is a side terrace with less people and equivalent view!
